Next Sunday is Septuagesima, the third week before the beginning of Lent! It was a great privilege to welcome veterans of HMS Illustrious to St James on Thursday, January 18th for their annual Remembrance Service. It was led by Fr Ray Jones RN, the first chaplain of Illustrious IV. It was moving service in which thanks were given for old shipments, living and departed.
