Whitechapel Bell Foundry has cast the first bell for ST DUNSTAN-IN-THE-WEST

News from Project Manager Dickon Love:

I thought you might be interested to see the attached photograph. When I visited the Whitechapel Bell Foundry to watch the first of the St Dunstan-in-the-West bells being cast, I saw the frame foundation beams for Garlickhythe stacked up in the workshop. This is the first tangible piece of the bells project to have arrived! Also attached is a picture of the stamp to create the Royal Arms on the bells, plus the new foundry stamp that will be used on all the bells. Garlickhythe will be special in that this will be the first ring of bells produced at Whitechapel to produce this stamp (the first new stamp for about 50 years).
